By: Yanasurya Admin

The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic caused many small to large businesses to stop production temporarily to prevent transmission of infections in the work environment, including among their employees. However, not a few who still open their business land. However, there must still be procedures that need to be considered and carried out to overcome the COVID-19 infection in the place of business.

The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki appealed to SMEs to implement COVID-19 prevention procedures in their respective businesses. "There are several steps that businesses can take in preventing the Corona virus," he stressed in his release in Jakarta, Wednesday (3/18/2020), quoted from the Indonesian UKM website.

How is Yanasurya as the largest Plastic Pallet producer in Indonesia responding to the impact of the Corona Virus pandemic or COVID-19? Although not all divisions operate we ensure that the implementation of the COVID-19 Transmission Prevention protocol continues.

When employees arrive at the Plastic Pallet production site during their working hours, we have formed a special team trained to ensure the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention protocol. This is important given the reports from various health institutions that show that people with COVID-19 may not have symptoms of illness.

The following 9 procedures Yanasurya have implemented to prevent COVID-19 transmission rates:

1) Spray disinfectant to ensure sterility of the entire area and Yanasurya business equipment with a frequency of 1 week 2 times.

2) Every employee, supplier, expedition and guest who will enter the Yanasurya area will be examined for body temperature, sterilization of disinfectant liquid and washing hands with a handsanitiser.

3) Suppliers, expeditions and guests are required to wear masks and gloves when in the Yanasurya area.

4) Implement physical distancing as recommended by the Ministry of Health at least 1 meter either in the queue or between staff tables / chairs. Also practices strict hygiene procedures.

5) Stop all visits or public meetings unless they cannot be postponed. We limit the number of parties who meet adequately.

6) Utilizing Conference technology for business interaction matters such as discussions, offers and sending messages and data.

7) Install reminder posters for all office locations and Plastic Pallet production to wash your hands using Soap / Handsanitizer / Alcohol regularly.

8) Every day at 10:00 around 15 minutes, all employees will take turns sunbathing in front of the lobby area.

9) Provide nutritious and hygienic lunch in a closed container. Disposable cutlery is used for all employees.

Of course with the implementation of the steps above, we Yanasurya want all staff, workers, suppliers and customers to remain safe and healthy. We want quality plastic pallet products to remain available without neglecting our most important asset, which is to keep everyone safe from COVID-19.
